Installing flasher unit
LED's using less
current therefore the blink rate will increase. To solve this
problem an electric variable flasher is used to slow down the
blinking rate. All bikes have flashers. Most flashers
are either located on the rear sub frame, next to the battery or
fuse box, or underneath the instrument cluster guages.
The provided
flasher is universal and can be used on all bikes. Most bikes
are simple plug and play, some require minor modifications.
3 Pin flashers: Honda's, Kawasaki (96 &
Newer), Yamaha's (Note: Some Honda's require disconnecting the red
wire
from the new Electronic Flasher.)
1. Find and remove old flasher. Plug in new
flasher.
2 Pin flashers: Aprilia, Ducati, Kawasaki (95 &
older), Suzuki (96 & Older):
1. Locate and remove
factory flasher. 2. Remove all wires and female connectors on new flasher. These wires are
not needed. 3. Cut off the "X" pin on new flasher as shown in photo. You can also bend this
pin. 4. Connect new flasher to factory connector. | |

connector. 2. Make sure the copper pins are still onnected to the wires as they will be needed
to connect to new flasher. 3. Connect pink (red) wire to the "L" pin on the new flasher unit and connect the
blue wire to the "X" pin on the new flasher. 4. Black wire is no longer needed. Just tape off to the side with electrical

We recommend first placing new
flasher in rubber holder then connecting
all wires as shown in photo to the
right. | |
